Border Fine Arts was founded by John Hammond in the Scottish Border town of Langholm during the 1970's. They developed their own sculpting material "Thorionware" which enables very finely detailed figures to be hand sculpted and hand painted.
This figure is the Golden Eagle and was part of the Birds of Prey Series.
He was modelled by Russell Willis in Scotland.
Colours are perfect there are no imperfections.
The diorama stands 10.5 inches tall including the hardwood base.
