This was a professional photograph taken in May 1931 and then hand tinted
I do not know who the chap is
I am told that it is Ref 43309 pose 3. I think that is known because someone took the back off and that is all it said.
The back is very dry and beginning to crumble so I did not wish to take it off again to preserve originality.
Frame is original and showing its age with some losses mainly to the corners, but it is 90 years old you do not want it to look new!
Photo itself is 8 inches by 6 inches.
