Monkey "Go to Bed" Antique Chamberstick

Rare 19th century Continental Porcelain Chamberstick modelled as a seated monkey wearing a top hat.
Lovely character his tail forms the handle and his hat is the candle holder.
A Go to Bed was a little hand held chamberstick which was easy to hold to light your way to bed.
Fantastic face and the remnants of gilding around his hat point to his quality.
He has no chips, cracks or imperfections that I can see.
