Murano Sommerso Glass Candlestick by Luciano Gaspari for Salviati and Co

Stunning Glass Candlestick made to represent a sword, clear glass with red blade and candle holder/sword handle.
I have carried out a lot of research and believe this was designed by Luciano Gaspari for Salviati & Co, it is definitely in their style and quality.
The base is signed and I have tried to show this in two photos, but I cannot recognise it to confirm my belief.
This dates to the 1950's, the base has lots of wear scratches commensurate with that sort of age
Overall the condition is great with no chips or cracks; you will probably find odd scratches, it is old!
11.5 inches tall and 5 inches across.
