Modelled by Platen Hallermundt and was introduced in the 1910's.
Platen Hallermundt modelled many figurines of different wildlife, mostly consisting of fish and birds. This is one of the many birds he made!
The year of manufacture of each individual item is indicated by dots and dashes above or below the letters on the base; this one has a line below the D in DENMARK, telling us it is from 1942
Very pretty figure.
She is 4.25 inches tall.
Excellent condition no flaws that I can see.
