Royal Copenhagen Squirrel With Nut No 982
Modelled by Andrea Nielsen, who sculpted for RC between 1905 and 1918. This one was introduced in the 1900's. She made several pieces during the time she worked at Royal Copenhagen, this squirrel being one of them.
The year of manufacture of each individual item is indicated by dots and dashes above or below the letters on the base; this one is covered up so cannot be read. It was taken out of production in about 1987.
This is a lovely figure
He is just over 2.5 inches tall
Excellent condition no flaws that I can see.
