Sir William Russell Flint Signed Limited Edition Print " Conversation, St. Martin d'Ardeche "

This is a print entitled "Conversation, St. Martin d'Ardeche" and published by Medici Society in 1968 in a limited edition of 850.
It features girls chatting in a sleepy French village
The original was exhibited in the RA Exhibition in 1967
The frame seems fairly cheap on this one and is probably not original, it is also slightly damaged on the corners
It is signed by the artist on the front. It bears the publishers blind stamp

Sir William Russell Flint 1880-1969
Scottish born he lived in England, Italy, France and Spain. His skill as a Watercolour artist was once described by the then President of The Royal Academy as a " Baffling Skill ".
He is best well known for his paintings of Mediterranean ladies dancing or resting in flowing ruffled skirts, often without wearing tops or very much at all. This is from his early career when he concentrated much more on interiors and architecture.

Frame is 36 inches by 30.25 inches; print size is 26.5 inches by 20 inches.
