Will Watch was the legendary hero of many ballads and melodramas

Beautifully hand painted and detailed

Condition wise it has virtually no damage, except for some crazing.
Age wise it should be 1850's BUT Pugh's book says it is 12.75 inches tall, my tape measure says it is 10 inches tall!! Condition wise it is too good to be 170 years old, there is no loss of gilding, no chips, so I think it is a reproduction. Probably made in the 1950's when they started becoming popular again.
