Yixing Style Terracotta Vase Embossed and incised

Continental, probably German, terracotta baluster vase in the Chinese Yixing manner, the body with relief and incised decoration with two oriental children watching butterflies.
No makers marks but there is what looks to be an unintelligible signature on the base.
One chip, to the base see photo.
It stands 12.5 inches tall, and are about 6 inches in diameter. The top is 4.25 inches diameter and the internal diameter is about 2.25 inches diameter.
It is in good condition, just the one chip as in photo no cracks.
Difficult to date, but I would guess mid 20th century.
